Inspired by his family who was in the music business, Donquel’s music journey began at a tender age. Being an avid storyteller, Donquel is greatly influenced by real life experiences, drawing inspiration for his music from personal experiences and hardships, allowing him to invoke strong emotions in people. Apart from invoking emotions, Donquel also seems to have a unique innate competency to ingeniously present music in multiple styles, all while maintaining a consistent brand, one of the factors that make this artist one to keep an eye out for. With big dreams and plenty of energy to spare, Donquel seeks to positively influence the world with his music, and is well on his way to becoming one of the most phenomenal artists in our generation.

He started doing music at the age of 10 years old in the Bronx because everyone in his family was in the music business from DJs, producers, party promoters, lawyers, etc..

He thinks of music all day and dreams about it as well. Music is like a language in a language by itself to Donquel. Music helps him get through hard times and rejuvenates his soul with energy to continue on to bigger goals.

In his music career, he has worked with many up-and-coming artists. He also was an apprentice at Plug Studios NYC and a few others. He become a musical advisor at a Record label name Vonmel. He interned for promoter Mr. Roy Moreira Jr. He DJ’d for over 10 years for birthday, baby showers, weddings, and local events in New York City areas.
